The square was filled with people.

Melly defended her guardian, Eida, in a somewhat subdued voice.
“They weren’t selling me off. The Dowager Duchess just wanted to match me with a good person.”

Francis said with a wink, as if teasing her.
Melly didn’t even have the energy to be angry at this man.
