“Wow, wow. The essence of a tree. That’s like a fairy from the springs in fairy tales.”
“Cordelia, it’s not the cute kind of spring fairy you’re thinking of. She’s far more ferocious and cruel. She burns to death anything that enters her territory without permission. And her territory is teeming with beasts.”
“But since you, Master, are so powerful, couldn’t you defeat that witch?”
“Hmm.”
Leonard lifted his chin and crossed his arms as Cordelia bolstered him.
“Dealing with the witch isn’t a big problem. The issue is the barrier surrounding her territory. With my original body, I might manage somehow….”
“But to get your original body back, we have to go to Dilona…. Umm. But how did Baron find your body, Master? I thought entering the witch’s territory meant death?”
“To be exact, I didn’t see it with my own eyes. I located it through detection.”
“Aha.”
