Exposed legs were unusually long. Was the loose white shirt really this tight? Doubt crept in about whether the shirt he wore every day, even now, was fitting.
Even the way she embarrassingly grasped the hem of the shirt seemed to heat up his eyes. Gradually, a flush appeared on her makeup-free face, and lips that had asked shyly slowly parted.
“They say this is a fantasy for men.”
“…….”
“How is it? Pretty?
Her white face, as well as every exposed part, was turning red. Seeing this, Sunwoo quickly wrapped Eunjae with the hastily picked-up blanket.
“You shouldn’t do things like this.”
The chest muscles clinging to his body wriggled. Eunjae, who had already felt the swollen desire, fluttered her eyelids.
While lightly laughing at Eunjae, who had diligently worn a slip under the white shirt, Sunwoo, wiping his lips on her forehead, whispered.
“You’ve seen it. Yet you’re like this. How a hungry beast devours its prey.”

“Really, did I do this without knowing?”
As if that statement were a catalyst, three buttons popped off in an instant. By the time the sound of buttons rolling on the hardwood floor subsided, Eunjae’s body twitched.
The shampoo scent blowing strongly made him even more impatient. Sunwoo, with his lips on her neck, heading towards the bedroom, neatly laid Eunjae on the bed, stared down at her for a while, then slowly stood up.
“Wait, I’ll go wash up.”
While wiping the sweat that had flowed down to his chin with the hem of his shirt, Sunwoo slowly raised the corners of his mouth.
“If you’re sleeping, I’ll wake you up.”
After finishing the shower, Eunjae, standing in front of the powder room connected to the bathroom, touched the traces he left a little while ago with his fingers.
Just feeling the imprinted marks scattered like flower petals made the events from a few hours ago vividly come to mind, and heat rose to his cheeks.
Neck, collarbone, and…
With an urgent call, asking him to wait for a moment, he tormented him as if to say what’s with “a moment” and, pleadingly, whispered, “No, please, I can’t do that.” His eyes quickly narrowed.

It seemed like he reached a limit. In the end, as the front of his eyes turned white, he didn’t have any thoughts or memories.
“Why do people become more… provocative.”
Then suddenly laughter burst out. There were things he wanted to ask, and he had waited for them, but he couldn’t ask anything. It was a night where the purpose went astray.
How could he have made such a reckless decision to live with this kind of happiness? Looking back, it was truly an imprudent choice.
But still, nothing was resolved.
“Is it okay for me to be laughing like this.”
Having gone to the abyss and come back, now being able to be by his side was enough to make him happy without haste.
Eunjae cooled the two pinkened cheeks with the back of his hand as he looked at himself in the mirror.
The eyes that drew a crescent moon, the raised eyebrows, the pretty lips that sketched a smile.
In the mirror, Eunjae looked incredibly happy.
In the end, he stayed up all night with wide-open eyes. Perhaps he had slept a little while waiting for him, so he thought it would be manageable, but that thought was brief. By the time Sunwoo was about to leave for work, his eyes kept closing.

As they descended the stairs, Eunjae kept yawning, and Sunwoo, who was ahead of him, turned around and smiled.
“Get some sleep.”
“Aren’t you tired?”
“Not at all.”
The answer now seemed more false than saying he hadn’t even sighed. His complexion was not just good but even radiant. Well, there were days when staying up all night wasn’t cool.
“But still, take a short nap during lunch, or…?”
Eunjae, who had come to see him off to the entrance, suddenly stopped walking and groaned briefly, clutching his lower abdomen. Sunwoo, who was about to put on his shoes, turned back into the house.
“What’s wrong?”
“Oh, it’s nothing. Suddenly, my lower abdomen started throbbing.”
“Did I go too hard yesterday? No, it’s today.”

While nonchalantly talking, running his hand over Eunjae’s stomach, Sunwoo, who had blushed, looked around and patted his back lightly.
“Really, you have no limits.”
“It hurt more because you said it hurt.”
Thinking about it quietly, it was a believable statement. As Sunwoo said, a hungry beast was rougher and more ferocious than he had imagined.
Actually, the reason for stopping in the middle was that, unlike other days, his senses had become more sensitive. He had never experienced such a strange and throbbing pain before.
“Where exactly does it hurt? Wouldn’t it be better to get it checked? No, never mind.”
Asking Eunjae about his symptoms, Sunwoo immediately made a call. When Eunjae nodded in response to Sunwoo’s question, he reserved an appointment with the internal medicine first and also reserved one with the gynecology just in case.
After a short conversation with the hospital staff, Sunwoo, putting on his jacket, said,
“Go to the hospital after going to the academy. Isn’t today the day you’ll meet your mother-in-law?”
“Yes. Today is the studio’s day off, right?”

When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!

The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
