“Ah! What are you—”
Unable to finish her sentence, Eunjae’s lips were completely swallowed by Sunwoo. While kissing, Sunwoo continued to push Eunjae backward.
The water sprayed from the shower instantly soaked Eunjae’s clothes and hair.
“Oh, it’s cold.”
“I set the temperature, so it should be warm, right?”
Only then did Eunjae realize that something was wrong, and she forcefully separated her lips.
“What’s wrong? You’re all wet.”
A warm and slightly sticky substance descended onto Eunjae’s lips as she grumbled. Sunwoo, whose nose was pressed against hers, smiled mischievously.
“I can’t help it.”
“…….”

“We have no choice but to shower together.”
“What? Uh, I… I…”
With Sunwoo’s low laughter, their lips met again. As their lips touched, the wet clothes fell off Eunjae’s body one by one.
Whether it was because of the heat in the bathroom or not, her face turned red in an instant. Her heart pounded, and her mind went blank. When the last piece of clothing fell to the floor, Eunjae curled up.
Eunjae, with her flushed appearance, was so beautiful that it was dizzying. Even her wandering eyes, lost and wandering around, were captivating.
Still embarrassed? Sunwoo whispered into her ear, and Eunjae, unable to make eye contact, nodded and shook her head.
“How about doing it like this?”
Sunwoo wrapped a large towel around Eunjae’s exposed body. Tilting his head, he looked at Eunjae with questioning eyes. Is it okay now? To his silent question, Eunjae nodded, her cheeks redder than usual.
Hugging Eunjae tightly, Sunwoo stepped into the foamy bathtub.
The water in the bathtub reached her chest. With every ripple in the water, the scent of lavender rose strongly.

Sunwoo gathered Eunjae’s long hair, which was floating in the water, and fixed it with a hairpin. Even with his inexperienced touch, Eunjae continued to shiver.
From her shoulders to her straight, white neck, there emanated a fragrance so beautiful that it made her head spin.
“Is this okay?”
As if seeking confirmation, Sunwoo lowered his head and stared at Eunjae. When she met his gaze, Eunjae quickly turned her head. The sensation against her back was unfamiliar.
“I did it on purpose.”
“I knew it. I thought you didn’t know.”
“Did you expect me to put bath bombs in the tub and not notice?”
“If you didn’t know, I shouldn’t have poured in the bath bomb just to show off.”
How effortlessly things flowed between them.
Whether it was because of the warm steam rising from the bathtub, the vague scent wafting around her nose, or the dazzling appearance of the beautiful man, Eunjae couldn’t tell.

Speechless, Eunjae could no longer respond and sighed deeply.
“Ha…”
“So, you don’t like it?”
“No, I like it.”
“I’ll take care of everything, okay?”
“Oh, it’s warm…”
“Don’t turn the words around. I’ll do it my way.”
Eunjae rested her head on the somewhat firm chest of the man, her lips pouting slightly. The man’s embrace was warm and cozy. As her tensed body gradually relaxed in the warm water, her eyes kept closing involuntarily.
“I’m sleepy… I want to sleep.”
“Alright, I’ll wash you clean and wake you up.”
“Really, this is ridiculous…”
Adapted to Manhwa
Feeling Sunwoo’s gentle voice and touch, Eunjae closed her heavy eyelids.
A week passed since then.
Sunwoo, walking through the bustling station, slowed down at the interesting voices of the lively nurses.
“I went to Jinpyeong with my boyfriend yesterday.”
“Oh! That place is a hidden gem.”
“It was amazing. Go before it gets too popular. There weren’t many people because it was a weekday. We were practically the only ones there around evening.”
“Really? Show us the pictures you took.”
Wow, it’s really pretty. The nurses’ chattering was unusually clear. As the photos on the phone quickly scrolled, Sunwoo’s eyes moved rapidly as well.
“What kind of place is that?”
Suddenly, Sunwoo squeezed into the group of nurses. It was surprising that Sunwoo, who usually showed little interest in things outside of work, was suddenly intrigued, but the wise nurses quickly understood. He must be a groom about to get married.

“Oh, here? It’s a Rabbit’s Foot Garden. It became famous as a dating course for couples these days. Besides the rabbit’s foot, there are wildflowers around, making it very beautiful. Would you like to see the pictures?”
She showed Sunwoo the photo she considered the best among those stored on her phone. Sunwoo, who was silently staring at the photo, asked, “Can you send me the address?”
The kitchen in the annex was busy. Various ingredients had taken over the kitchen.
It was because Eunjae’s Korean cooking skills test was approaching. She didn’t know when she hastily enrolled in the academy. She didn’t expect the test schedule to be so tight.
Eunjae, cutting carrots, glanced at Seongsan, who was peeling potatoes next to her.
It was a sudden visit to her family to get ingredients for practice.
“You just need to give me the ingredients…”
“You’re quite skilled. I don’t know if it’ll help, but.”
When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!

The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
