Clenching her teeth, Haeyeon saw her reflection in the mirror. She couldn’t bear to look at her own face, tinged with venom, for long and opened the bathroom door.

It was an unusually clear morning. Do-ha, who had drunk a bit too much the night before, woke up slightly groggy. As a couple of four years, they knew each other’s whereabouts without seeing each other.

Haeyeon’s frequent late nights and heavy workload were always catered for by her wife, who kept the necessary ingredients at hand. Despite being near her, Haeyeon remained focused on making juice, causing Do-ha to lean in and inspect her face.
